4-day trip with 20+ active production runs
As a global business with manufacturing footprints in several markets around the world, we have to make the most of our trips when our founders travel internationally. An example of that occurred during a recent trip to Shanghai, where our CEO and Co-Founder, George Stroumboulis, took a four-day trip to Shanghai to oversee 20+ production runs of custom light fixtures and furniture for international retail, restaurant and commercial clients.
“Shanghai is a second home to me and Ideoli. We do a lot of our business here and we’ve established our Asian footprint here, primarily in the Shanghai area,” says George. “We have full production lines going on non-stop, six days a week, producing several thousand units a day. So were excited with what’s going on. We have full-time coverage over here with our local team and US presence.”
In addition to overseeing production runs at our factory, George also took time during the trip to hold team and client meetings around Shanghai. It’s amazing how much we can accomplish in a few days!
